Originated by
Chris Wilhoite and
Cynthia Wilhoite of Soules Garden in Minnesota, this
non-registered cultivar is a reverse sport of H.
'St. Paul'. The
blue-green foliage has a wide yellow marginal
variegation. It grows into a giant size hosta about 32 inches in
height and 60 inches in width. It has broadly ovate to oblong
ovate, wavy and moderately corrugated foliage. The pale lavender
flowers bloom starting in mid-July.
In
the Country Garden & Gift website says, "With age, the
foliage becomes quite dimpled and textured, and the
color can vary greatly depending on how much light the
plant gets." |
