This cultivar which is a hybrid
of H. 'Bells of Edinborough' × H. 'Indigo' was registered by
Dennis Savory
of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 2000. The miniature size mound (4 inches high
by 11 inches wide) has blue-green to medium green foliage. The
leaves are wavy and have smooth texture. Lavender flowers bloom
in late summer. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Note that there is a much different plant with a similar
name, i.e. 'Turtledove'."
