Originated by Hans-Henning Maindock of Creative Gartenplanung  in Germany, this non-registered cultivar is probably a sport of H. 'Tsugaro Komanichi'. It is a small size hosta with dark green foliage that has a white marginal variegation. Some of the leaves come out totally green. Dark purple flowers bloom in July on tall stems.
