Registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2005,
this cultivar is a seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict'. It is a large size hosta about 20 inches high
with a spread of around 52 inches. The foliage is
blue-green with a chartreuse colored marginal
variegation. Its leaves are heavily rippled, ovate,
moderately corrugated and has thick substance. Near
white flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 34 inches
tall. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Unfortunately, the chartreuse margin does not really
stand out and can easily be mistaken for heat stress or
a nutrient deficiency."
