Hosta 'Toutatis'

This small size (7 inches high by 5 inches wide) cultivar was registered in 2004 by Emile and Jane Deckert of Maryland and is of unidentified parentage. It has greenish yellow foliage with a "bluish" tint. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly cupped and dull on top. Bell shape flowers bloom from June into July on scapes 13 to 15 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...unique luminescent bluish tones, variant shades yellow with blue-green..."

Toutatis was a Celtic god worshipped in ancient Gaul and Britain. It is also the name of a famous asteroid.
