Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2002. The mound
grows to 14 inches high and 30 inches wide with moderately
corrugated, wavy foliage of average substance. It bears
fragrant, pale lavender flowers bloom in late summer.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...bears brighter gold
foliage than its 'Guacamole' counterpart, 'Fried Bananas', but
it is not quite as vigorous in the garden."
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Increases rapidly. The flowers have some
fragrance, particularly in hotter climates."
