Originated by Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina, this non-registered, small size (6 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is a self-pollinated (for several generations) seedling of H. sieboldii. It is a fast growing plant with wavy green foliage. Purple flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 15 inches tall.
