 This
fast growing hybrid of H. 'Corkscrew' × H. 'Lemon Frost' was registered by
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in 2008. The
small size mound grows to only 8 inches in height with a width of
16 inches.
Its leaves are slightly shiny on top and bottom, slightly twisted, slightly
folded, moderately wavy and narrowly
ovate with a tapered base. The petiole is slightly red at the
base. It bears lavender flowers that stay closed from mid-July into August.
From the
Field Guide to Hostas by Mark Zilis (2014), "Every time I see this cultivar in a garden setting,
I am impressed."
