This
sport of H. 'Gold Edger' was registered by
Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It
forms a small size (8 inches high by 20 inches wide) clump with
dark green foliage that has a chartreuse colored marginal
variegation. The leaves are cupped and have thick substance.
Lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The contrast between the dark green center and the
chartreuse margin gives 'Timothy' an attractive, intriguing
appearance. The very thick substance makes it slug-resistant and
give evidence of
tetraploid properties."
