Nursery in Illinois but registered by
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina in
2022,
this fast growing cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Appletini'. It is a small size hosta
about 8 inches high by 18 inches wide with dark green
foliage that has a greenish yellow medial (center)
variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are relatively
flat, slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top and
bottom. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into
August on scapes 10 to 12 inches tall.
The registration materials state: "Small
mound of light yellow leaves with slightly feathered
dark green margins...greenish yellow color becomes light
green in summer."
