Registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2002, this cultivar is a seedling of an H. 'Dorothy Benedict' seedling. It is a giant size (33 inches high by 46
inches wide) hosta with an upright growth habit. The
leaves are green with a greenish yellow marginal
variegation and have thick substance. Its foliage is
heavily rippled, broadly ovate, moderately corrugated
and slightly shiny on top. Very pale lavender
flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes about 40
inches tall. The
registration information states, "...shiny green leaves
with wide rippled yellow margins; good substance..."
