Originated by
Ran Lydell
of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York, this non-registered cultivar is
a sport of H. 'Brass Ring'. It is a
large size hosta with dark blue-green foliage. The
leaves are broadly ovate, slightly wavy and moderately
corrugated. As the summer progresses, it becomes a dark
green plant. Medium lavender flowers on 2 foot high scapes bloom from mid-July to August.
