This seedling of H. 'Sea Sunrise' was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 1998. It is a medium size (12 inches high by 21 inches wide) plant with medium gold colored foliage that is broadly ovate and heavily corrugated. The lavender flowers bloom in July.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Holds its color well. Best grown in high, filtered shade. Slow to increase."
