Originated in Japan, this non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. longipes. It is a small to medium size hosta with dark green foliage that has a creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves are ovate to oblong and have thick substance.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...grows to a larger size than other H. longipes derivatives. The wide, creamy white margins offer a nice contrast to the dark green center."
