large size (24 inches high by 40 inches wide), slow
growing
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a
golden-yellow hosta with nearly round leaves that are
convexly cupped, moderately corrugated, have prominent
veins and are dull on top. Near white flowers bloom in
July on scapes 20 to 30 inches tall followed by viable
seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...Large cultivar with rounded,
turned-down, corrugated leaves of yellow green that turn
a pale golden yellow in summer." |
