This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Paul's
Glory' which was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010.
This medium
size (18 inches high by 45 inches wide) with dark green foliage
that has chartreuse to medium golden yellow medial
(center) variegation.
Its leaves are moderately
corrugated, slightly wavy, ovate and dull on top. Pale
lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into
August. The center of the leaves become lighter colored
as the summer progresses.
Obviously,
these are the initials for the explosive chemical compound,
Trinitrotoluene. Thought you might get a bang out of that!
