of Illinois, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'PeeDee Gold
Flash'. It is a slow growing, miniature size (4 inches high by
7 inches wide) hosta with golden yellow foliage. The
nearly round leaves are moderately cupped, moderately
corrugated and slightly shiny on top with red petiole
whose color extends into the leaf blade. It bears pale
purple, tubular flowers with stripes that bloom from
June into July on reddish colored scapes but does not
set seeds.
According to the Registration materials: "Tiny cupped corrugated golden
yellow leaves with red petioles extending into the leaf
blade."
