This hybrid of H. kiyosumiensis x H. pycnophylla was originated by Hajime Sugita of Japan and was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It grows to around 18 inches in height with a spread of 50 inches with blue-green foliage. The leaves have smooth texture with deep veins. Lavender flowers bloom in August.
