Originated by
Clarence
Owens of Michigan, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Sally and
Bob'. It is a large size (26 inches high by
40 inches wide) hosta with blue-green foliage that has
yellow streaked variegation. The
broadly ovate leaves are slightly corrugated and
moderately cupped. It bears pale lavender, tubular
flowers that bloom from June into July
and sets seed but their viability was not known at the
time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Larger, bluer, and more cupped
than the pod parent...leaves lose their blue coloration
and the yellow streaks turn white..."
