A slow growing seedling selection of unidentified parentage and unidentified origin, this hosta was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010.   It is a medium size plant about 17 inch high mound with a spread of 44 inches. The leaves are nearly round, moderately wavy, deeply cupped, heavily corrugated and dull on top with thick substance. Near white, tubular flowers form in dense clusters starting in mid-June. It sets viable seeds.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "I'm not sure if Paul Aden ever appreciated the value of this outstanding cultivar...one of the best cupped hosta cultivars, it is beautifully corrugated, thick-substanced, and attractive in flower."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Origin: H. 'Tokudama' hybrid.. .Slow to increase...Leaves are even more deeply cupped than similar plants..."

This cultivar was formerly credited to Paul Aden of New York but has been subsequently classified as having unidentified origin .
