Hosta 'Sum Upper Crust'

Another of the many, many sports of H. 'Sum and Substance', this cultivar was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2004. It grows to about 25 inches in height with chartreuse foliage that has yellow and creamy white streaked variegation along with a white marginal variegation. The leaves are deeply cupped. Lavender flowers bloom from late July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...virtually indistinguishable from 'Sum Cup-o-Joe'..."
