One of the many sports of H. 'Sum
and Substance', this cultivar was originated by
Jim Vrable and
registered by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2003. The large size plant grows to
around 21 inches in height by 29 inches wide. Its leaves vary
from chartreuse to gold in color with lighter yellow streaks. In
late July and into August, it produces large pale lavender
flowers on four foot tall scapes.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...difficult to maintain true-to-type."
