medium size (14 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It is a golden-yellow
hosta with broadly ovate leaves that are slightly
rippled, dull on top, moderately wavy and moderately
corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom in June on light
green to golden yellow scapes 18 to 24 inches tall. It
sets viable seeds in light green pods.
The registration
materials state: "...Large distinguished plant with
a midsummer glow of striking golden yellow...emerges
chartreuse before turning bright golden-yellow."
