This 2019 introduction
comes from
Chris Wilson
of Hallson Gardens in Michigan. It is a sport of H. 'Blaze of
Glory'. It forms a large size (24 inches high by 40
inches wide) mound which is slightly larger than the
mother plant. The nearly round leaves are slightly
corrugated and wavy with a thick bloom on the underside.
It emerges solid yellow in the spring but, as the summer
progresses, the center of the leaf turns lime green in
color. Near white flowers bloom from late June into
July.
