This sport of H. 'Striptease' was originated by Nancy Burlingame of New York but registered by the Western New York Hosta Society in 2004. It starts the season with green foliage that has a gold marginal variegation but changes to gold centered with green margins like the mother plant later in the season.

This cultivar forms a large size (20 inches high) mound of slightly wavy, smooth textured foliage of average substance. It bears pale lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...represents the first sport that I ever saw with foliage colors that completely reversed during the growing season."

From The Hosta Journal, (2008 Vol. 39 No 1), "...goes through some dramatic shifts in color through the season. A chartreuse margin surrounds a wide dark green leaf center in the spring. By late summer, the colors have completely reversed, with the margin becoming green and the center chartreuse."
