This H. 'Elegans' seedling was registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 2001. It grows into a giant size plant that is 35 inches high by 78 inches wide. The blue-green foliage changes to dark green by late summer. Its leaves are moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Very pale purple flowers bloom from late June into July.
