Registered in 2004 by
Rachel Soucek, this hybrid of H. 'Blue Vision' × H. 'Fantastic' is
named for a fellow hybridizer. The semi-upright, giant size clump grows up
to 29 inches in height and a width of over 6 feet. Its leaves
are nearly round, cupped and somewhat unruly. The near white
flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This cultivar honors a great
daylily and hosta hybridizer and collector. It makes a massive,
upright mound of incredibly blue foliage."
