Registered by Viktoria Serafin of Glenbrook Farm in New York in 2008,
this medium to fast growing cultivar is a sport of H. 'Saint Elmo's Fire'.
It grows into a medium size plant about 16 inches tall
by 24 inches wide with dark green foliage that has a
pure white marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly
ovate, moderately flat and slightly shiny on top.
Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 26 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...Dramatic color change over a prolonged
period, exceptionally dark green final color. Holds
up well in fall...spring color yellow edge, light green center,
color changes through July..."
