Calvin Helsley of Missouri registered this sport of H. 'Gold Standard' in 1998. It has yellow medial (center) variegation with a green margin. The cultivar varies from the mother plant by also having streaks in the center of the leaf. It is a large size (22 inches high) plant with lavender, funnel shaped flowers from mid-July into August. This is a 'Fortunei' type hosta.
