Originated by
Gary Bronson
of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Alvatine
Taylor'. It is a medium size (16 inches high by
38 inches wide) hosta with greenish yellow foliage. The
broadly ovate leaves are slightly cupped and moderately
corrugated. It bears pale lavender, tubular flowers that
bloom from June into July
and sets viable seeds.
According to the Registration materials: "Frosty wax coating melts off
where light hits leaving a green "checked" appearance to
the corrugated leaf. Holds up well into the
fall...starts off frosty mint green changing to yellow
later..."
