Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina registered this cultivar in 2006 as a
tissue culture sport of H. 'Garden Treasure'. It forms a large size (24 inches high) plant with
broadly ovate shaped, heavily corrugated,
moderately cupped
foliage with thick substance. Very pale
lavender, funnel shaped flowers bloom in late-June to July on
tall scapes.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase, but will probably exceed its
registered dimensions over time. Smaller than its parent...Leaves very colorful
and shapely, evincing H. 'Elegans'
heritage."
