this medium size (13 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of
(H. 'Mikawa-no-Yuki' ×
H. 'One Man's Treasure') ×
H. 'Yoshingawa'.
The dark green foliage is lanceolate, moderately wavy,
serrated and slightly shiny on top but very shiny on the
bottom. Medium lavender flowers with a white "star" at
the base and lavender stripes bloom in September on scapes up to 26 inches tall. It sets viable seeds in
green pods that have purple blotches. The
registration materials state: "...Narrow, wavy leaves with
serrated edges and curled tips.
Deep, closely spaced veins. Dark
purple branched scapes with deep
pink, shiny buds."
