of Hallson Gardens in Michigan in
2017, is
a
medium size (16 inches high by 24 inches wide) sport of H. 'El
Niño'. It is intensely blue-green with a pure white
marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate,
slightly rippled and have a glaucous bloom on top. Pale
lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
The registration materials state: "...Slightly wavy
margins. The white margin is wider and the overall clump
size is smaller than H. 'El Niño'."
