This very slow growing sport of
H. 'Orange Marmalade' was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2012. It forms a medium size plant about 24 inches high but
only 14 inches wide. The foliage is golden yellow with a dark
green marginal variegation.
Its leaves are slightly corrugated,
slightly wavy, ovate and glaucous on top. Pale lavender flowers
bloom from July into August. This plant has wider margins and
thicker substance than the mother plant. The leaf center goes
from chartreuse to darker yellow as the season progresses.
