this large size (20 inches high by 55 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sagae' ×
H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. It is an upright growing hosta with medium green colored leaves that are nearly
round, slightly cupped, slightly corrugated and slightly
shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with white stripes
bloom from mid-June into July on scapes 30 to 42 inches
tall. It sets seed but their viability was not known at
the time of registration.
The registration materials state: "...Upright clump
of large, almost round, shiny leaves...darkens slightly
during the season."
