Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2016, this fast growing, upright cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sagae' ×
H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. This large size hosta grows
to about 24 inches in height by 28 inches in width with
golden yellow foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Tubular
flowers bloom from June into July on scapes up to 40
inches tall. The
registration materials state: "A regal golden yellow
that's upright and a fast grower...Turns more golden yellow as season
progresses."
