There is an image of this
cultivar on the
Hosta Library. The photo on the HL website only shows
flowers which are pale lavender and appear to open more
widely than typical for hosta blooms. Also, there are
many buds clumped toward the top of the scape.
This is a small size hosta with lanceolate, blue-green,
wavy, twisted foliage. It was originated in Japan and
introduced by
Barry Yinger of Asiatica Nursery in Pennsylvania.
