Clarence
Owens of Michigan registered this
open-pollinated seedling of
H. 'Mira' in 1987. The giant size (30 inches high) mound of thick, moderately
corrugated, somewhat unruly foliage sports near white flowers from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...forms a huge mound of dark green
foliage that has a "floppy" appearance. The leaves are held
semi-upright on tall petioles, but the blade droops downward from
mid-leaf to the tip."
