Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York registered this sport of H. 'Gold Standard' in 1995. It has green foliage with a green and white marginal variegation. It is a large size (22 inches high) plant with lavender, funnel shaped flowers from mid-July into August. This is a 'Fortunei' type hosta.
