This cultivar is a sport of the species
H. capitata from Japan which has
dark green
foliage with a white marginal variegation. It is a fast
growing hosta with rippled, shiny, heart-shaped leaves
and a piecrust margin. It forms a flat, medium size
mound about 16 inches high by 38 inches wide. Purple
flowers in clusters with yellowish anthers from late
