Originated by Dr. Charles Purtymun of Walden West in Oregon, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. venusta. It is a small size hosta with dark green foliage. The upright standing, elliptical leaves are held high with long scapes. The lavender flowers with darker veins and purple/yellow anthers appear from late June into July.
