Originated by
Dr. Doug Beilstein and
Mardy Beilstein of Ohio, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as being of unidentified parentage. It is a small size (7 inches high by
12 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage that has
yellow to sand colored streaked variegation. The
broadly ovate leaves are relatively flat, very slightly
folded and slightly shiny on top. It bears medium
purple, tubular flowers that bloom from June into July
and sets viable seeds.
According to the Registration materials: "A small plant with
heart-shaped leaves with sand colored streaking on the
interior portion of the leaf (streaking does not go to
the leaf edges)." |
