Registered by Chick Wasitis of Bridgewood Gardens from Maryland in 2011, this
upright growing cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size (15 inches
tall by 24 inches wide) hosta with medium blue-green
foliage which has a white marginal variegation. The
leaves are lanceolate, deeply recurved, slightly rippled
and dull on top. Tubular flowers bloom from June into
July. According to the registration materials: "...leaves curve sharply downward with tips
pointing inward...greens up in summer..."
This
cultivar won the 2008 William and Eleanor Lachman Award at the First Look hosta competition as the best seedling as
chosen by the AHS Judges.
