Registered by Paul Aden of New York in 1982, this cultivar is a seedling of a "golden
Tardiana". It
forms a large size plant about 17 inches high by 39
inches wide with chartreuse to pale green foliage that
has a creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves are
elliptic, slightly wavy and have smooth texture and thin
substance. Medium purple flowers bloom from late July
into August on scapes up to 45 inches tall. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...appears to be more closely related to
Hosta sieboldii..."
