This non-registered cultivar is part of
Van
Wade's
American Indian Series of hostas. This
H. 'Sieboldiana'-type plant has heavily
corrugated foliage with thick substance.
According to The Hostapedia, the name of this
cultivar is singular "Seminole". However, the sign above is from Van Wade's
gardens and it says "Seminoles" so we will go with that name.
The
Seminoles are a Native American tribe who settled in Florida in the 18th century.
