This seedling of H. 'Sea Frolic' is part of the "Sea
Series" of hostas from
Mildred Seaver
of Massachusetts who registered it in 2001. It forms a
medium to large size (16 inches high by 34 inches wide) plant of
green foliage. The foliage is heavily rippled, slightly
corrugated, deeply veined with good substance. Lavender flowers
bloom in July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...exhibits the good marginal rippling of both its pod
parent, 'Sea Frolic', and 'Donahue Piecrust', the pod parent of
'Sea Frolic'."
