this giant size (30 inches high by 40 inches wide) cultivar is a
rhizomatous seedling of H. montana 'Aureomarginata' ×
H. 'Paradigm'. It is a medium green hosta with
leaves that are broadly ovate, slightly folded and very
shiny on top. Pale purple flowers with darker purple
stripes bloom from mid-July into August on tall scapes
up to 54 inches high. The
registration materials state: "...Super shiny
heart-shaped leaves that come to an extended tip. Tall
scapes with large flowers. Although tall and upright the
plant is rhizomatous...darkens slightly as the season
progresses."
