Registered by Jim Husemann of Iowa in 2010, this
fast growing, upright cultivar is a large size (20
inches high by 30 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Rosedale Black Hole'.
The foliage is dark green, nearly round, heavily
corrugated, moderately folded, deeply cupped and dull on
top. Tubular flowers bloom from June into July on scapes
18 to 22 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...very dark green, extreme cupping,
corrugation, and substance..."
