This non-registered,
small size (8 inches high by 12 inches wide), medium green
cultivar is a hybrid of H. ventricosa
'Aureomarginata'.
It has yellow streaked variegation on its cordate leaves that have 9 veins. The
purple flowers bloom from July into August on scapes 32 inches tall followed by
viable seeds. Schmid (1991) credits
Houseworth
as the originator.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "...have never seen
in a collection or garden; may no longer exist."
