Registered by Jim and Karen Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by
Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2015, this
upright growing cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It is a large size plant about
19 inches high by 35 inches wide with dark green foliage
that has a creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves
are broadly ovate, slightly corrugated, slightly wavy and
slightly shiny on top with a twisted tip. Tubular
flowers bloom from mid-July into August. According to the registration materials: "...dark green shiny-leafed large hosta with
variable creamy edge, heavily veined..." |
